where is the panda taking a selfie chengdu

The famous "Selfie Panda" statue is located at Yangtianwo Square in Dujiangyan, which is a satellite city within the Chengdu prefecture of Sichuan Province. Designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, the massive 130-tonne sculpture depicts a giant panda lying on its back while holding a smartphone to take a selfie. It is situated right in the city center of Dujiangyan, directly across from the ancient town and near the famous Dujiangyan Irrigation System. Travelers from downtown Chengdu can easily reach the site by taking a high-speed train from Xipu Railway Station to Liduigongyuan Station; the statue is visible immediately upon exiting the station via Exit D. As a popular modern landmark, the square is surrounded by creative markets, shops, and restaurants, making it a central hub for tourists visiting the area.
