Intel's major facility in Chengdu, known as Intel Products (Chengdu) Ltd., is located in the Chengdu High-Tech West Zone within the High-Tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Situated on a 60-acre campus in the western part of the city, this site serves as a critical global hub for Intel’s assembly and testing operations. Since its establishment in 2003, the facility has expanded into a massive 4-in-1 manufacturing powerhouse that integrates assembly, testing, die prep, and die sort capabilities. It is one of Intel's largest packaging and testing bases globally, supplying a significant portion of the company's mobile device microprocessors and recently expanding to include services for server chips.
