As of right now, the time in Chengdu, Sichuan, is 2:25 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The city operates on China Standard Time (CST), which is UTC+8. China does not observe daylight saving time, so this time zone remains consistent throughout the year across the entire country. Because Chengdu is located further west than Beijing, the official time reflects the solar cycle of the eastern coast, meaning that the sun often rises and sets later in the day compared to cities like Shanghai or Beijing.
