Summers, occurring from June to August, are typically hot and humid with temperatures often reaching above 30°C (86°F), accompanied by frequent rainfall. In contrast, winters from December to February are generally mild but damp and overcast; in December, average daytime temperatures hover around 11°C (52°F) while nighttime lows drop to about 4°C (39°F). Although significant snowfall is rare, the high humidity can make the winter air feel quite chilly. The most pleasant weather occurs during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when temperatures are moderate and the landscape is particularly vibrant, making these the ideal times for sightseeing.
