how to get to zhangjiajie national forest park from chengdu

To travel from Chengdu to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the most efficient method is taking a direct high-speed train or a flight followed by a local bus. Direct high-speed trains depart from Chengdu East Railway Station and arrive at Zhangjiajie West Railway Station in approximately 4 to 5.5 hours, with tickets for a second-class seat costing around 370 to 410 CNY. Alternatively, you can take a direct flight from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) to Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport (DYG), which takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Zhangjiajie City at either the train station or the airport, you must transfer to reach the Wulingyuan scenic area where the park is located. From Zhangjiajie West Railway Station or the Central Bus Station near the airport, you can take a frequent direct minibus to Wulingyuan, which takes about 40 to 60 minutes and costs approximately 12 to 14 CNY. Taxis or ride-sharing apps like Didi are also available for a faster 30-minute door-to-door journey to the park entrance.
